audioEngine West Mixes 13 Winners at Addy Awards Gala in Scottsdale

Top Spots from Cramer-Krasselt, EB Lane, and Riester Feature Sound by Bob Giammarco

Phoenix —audioEngine West’s crackling audio mixes graced a baker’s dozen award-winning commercials recently honored at the 2009 Annual ADDY Awards Gala. The state-of-the art audio post facility and music production company caters to the advertising, film, TV, and new media industries, and is helmed by highly credentialed sound engineer Bob Giammarco, who provided the dynamic mixes for numerous winning spots. Also garnering awards for creative sound design and original music was aE West composer Jason Camiolo.

Gold ADDY-awarded work which aE West worked on includes commercials submitted by TunnelBravo for TaylorMade Golf (“TaylorMade Masters”), Riester’s Maricopa County Clean Air Initiative (“Running Out of Air”), and Cramer-Krasselt’s Toyota (“Rosetta”). E.B. Lane Advertising’s winning spot for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (“Crossing Light”), featured original music by audioEngine and mix as well

Silver ADDYs were awarded to audioEngineWest for original music created by Camiolo for Pepsi (“New Tradition”), and also Cramer-Krasselt’s spots for Toyota (“Unpack,” “Hygienic,” “Rosetta”), all of which featured mixes by Giammarco. Santy Agency’s integrated campaign for Phoenix Children’s Hospital (“Handprints”), engineered by Giammarco, nabbed a Silver ADDY as well.

Bronze ADDYs went to audioEngine West for Camiolo’s original music score composed for the one-hour documentary, “Quran,” (Contemporary Connections, production company), and for the music he created for Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Before They Could Walk.” A bronze honor went to Riester for Arizona Lottery (“Andale”), also mixed by audioEngine.
